Setup - Compliance Policies
Overview
Safari provides purpose-built features and configurable options designed to help your organization comply with applicable legal requirements and internal policies. The checklist below summarizes these capabilities and includes links to supporting help pages and detailed guides where available.
All types of legal requests
- Templates: Use templates to standardize answers, responses, and other legal notices
- Internal Legal Policies & Guidance: Store your company's policy documents in the Library (which is also available in every matter)
- Jurisdiction & Domestication Alerts: Configure alerts for lack of jurisdiction and domestication (see Setup - Subtypes)
- Access Controls: Set controls on matter access and user permissions
- Compliance Reporting: Produce configured reports for oversight and audit readiness
Subpoenas and Information Requests
- RFPA: For financial institutions, track RPFA compliance (both federal and state-level compliance) with workflows to ensure compliance and reportable fields specific (download the RFPA Compliance Guide at bottom of page)
- Disclosure Prohibited: Enable "Disclosure Prohibited" alerts by Subtype (see Setup - Subtypes)
- BSA notifications: Set BSA notification workflows (see Setup - Subtypes)
For garnishments, you can:
- CFPB Compliance: Set workflow alerts for exemption tracking and compliance specific to issues raised in the CFPB order (download the Garnishment Compliance Guide at bottom of page)
