Upload Signature Image
BACKGROUND: System Owners and Admins can create templates for correspondence or response documents that include an image of user's signature. (For Owners and Admins, see
Setup - Template and Library). These images are stored in each person's User Profile.
To upload or change your signature image, access your User Profile, make sure to click the Edit button to put your profile in edit mode, then click on the image box or your prior signature image. Here are the image requirements:
- Permissible file types: .png, .gif, .jpg
- Size: 100 px high nor 250 px wide
TIP: If you attach an image that has larger dimensions, Safari automatically resizes the image to fit 100 x 250 pix (shrinking the file proportionally so the largest dimension fits the requirements). For best results, upload a file with rectangular dimensions vs. one with square dimensions.Last Login
This field will show the last date and time of your login. The time will be in [time zone].
Notifications
Safari gives you control over how you are notified about key matter events. For each notification type, you can choose to receive notifications in-app (via the "Bell", see
Workflow - Alerts, Notifications & Warnings), by email, or both - or turn them off entirely.
Configurable Notification Events
The following notification types can be configured in My Profile:
- Assigned as Reviewer: Notifies you when you are assigned as the Reviewer for a matter.
- Added as Participant: Notifies you when you are added as a Participant on a matter.
- @Mentioned in a Note: Notifies you when another user @mentions you in a note.
- Deposit Paid: Notifies you when a deposit payment is received, which you required of the requesting party before you will gather response documents. See Invoicing - Prepayments & Deposits for more information.
Notification Options
For each event type above, you can select one of the following using the checkboxes in your profile:
- In-App Only: Receive the notification via the in-app notification bell only; no email is sent.
- Email Only: Receive the notification by email only.
- Both: Receive the notification in-app and by email.
- None: No notification is sent (this option is not available for @mentions).
When should you adjust your preferences? The default for all notification types is Both. Most users find it helpful to leave notifications on, especially when getting started. If you work in Safari throughout the day and find certain email notifications redundant, you may want to switch those to In-App only. if you check Safari infrequently, email ensures you stay informed even when you're not logged in.
Display Options
Changing your Default View for the Matter Listing Pages
The default view on all matter listing pages (e.g., Assigned to Me) is to view All Types. This means that you'll see both subpoena and garnishment matters. If you work on subpoena matters only, or garnishment mattes only, you can change your default view on all matter listing pages to be either Document Request (for subpoenas) or Garnishment (for account garnishments and levies).
The reason to change this default view is that it immediately gives you more options to select under the Status view selector. If the default is "All Types," then the matter status selections are limited to only generic status (Active-Unresolved, Open - To Do, Open - On Hold, Open-All, Closed, and All). However, by changing the default view to a specific type, the status selection has more options. For example, here are the status options if the Type selected is Document Requests:
- Active-Unresolved
- Open - To Do
- Open - Portal
- Open - On Hold
- Open - All
- To Do - Delivery Setup
- To Do - Prep Response
- To Do - QA
- Closed
- All
