The subpoena is not for a document request but for in-person testimony. How do we track that in Safari? You can create a Subtype for "In-Person Testimony" and store the location information in the "Other Information" field.
Is it possible to load prior served documents and matters into Safari? Yes, but it usually requires a custom import by Safari. Please contact support@safarilaw.com for more information.
We would like to customize fields in the matter profile and lists of matters. Is that in Safari's product roadmap? Yes, it is in our roadmap, but we don't yet have a specific release date for you. If you'd like this capability, please send us a feature request email to support@safarilaw.com.
What are Entity short names used for? Are they internal only, or are they shown to users in ServePort? They are used in both places. On the intake side of ServePort, submitters only see the entity's full name. On the delivery side, the short name appears in the portal pages themselves, in every notification email subject and body, on fax cover pages, and in the download filenames. The short name is also available as the "Entity Served Short Name" template variable, and it is what displays in the Entity Served column of the matter list.
